Building and running of Wind Farms
Given its relevance, wind power is extremely important to dst renewables, a big energy sector company in Portugal.

Boasting an installed capacity of 240 MW, the Alto Minho I Wind Farm started operating in 2008, thus increasing the installed capacity owned by the group’s associated companies to 294.4 MW. This investment allowed the dst group to increase its installed capacity to 68.41 MW.
Ventominho – Energias Renováveis, S.A. has been able to fully exercise its exploitation rights, i.e. exploitation of wind energy in the Melgaço, Monção, Paredes de Coura and Valença Councils, since the final acceptance of the last section (Alto do Coriso) of the Alto Minho I Wind Farm, signed on 25 March 2009. The dst group holds a participating interest in this venture, as an investor.
In August 2016, the Alto Minho I Wind Farm was extended for an additional power of 23 MW. The extension of the Arga Wind Farm is also ongoing to obtain an additional power of 4.7 MW.
The dst group currently holds participating interests in the following Wind Farms: Alto Minho I (263 MW), Arga (36 MW), Espiga (6 MW), S. Paio (10 MW) and Alto da Vaca (2.4 MW). The dst group owns 74.31 MW of a total installed capacity of 317.4 MW.
